My Poor Poor Chaz...

Friday, February 6th, was a rainy morning. It wasn't pouring cats and dogs but it wasn't sprinkling either, so I don't know how you'd describe it. I woke up at the usual time, left at the usual time, nothing seemed odd about the morning. So at 7:37 in the morning, there I was, sitting at a stoplight behind a line of cars waiting to turn right onto a road off of the freeway and BAM. I was rearended. Some idiot behind me decided to take the exit two minutes after I did but decided to look in his REARVIEW mirror instead of out in front of him. He rearended me. Chaz is damaged. Five thousand dollars worth. Not totalled though, so that's good. The guy had insurance, so it's paying for everything. I get my car back in about a week or so. But dammit, that's my Chaz, that's my baby, that's my pride and joy, that's what I enjoy driving, that's MY car. And I didn't do anything wrong! This was COMPLETELY out of my hands, and I guess although that's good as far as my driving record and insurance payments and police report goes, it's frustrating when it comes to how I think about it because there's nothing I could have done to stop it when it happened.

I can't wait to get Chaz back. I am so excited. :] Looking forward to the future is the only thing I can do from here. :]
